David Kirk Stirton, MBA, CPA, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Tulane University and earned a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in biology and chemistry.

 

He works with a wide variety of clients primarily on tax related matters, litigation support, oil & gas exploration and production, closely held business valuations, financing and business restructurings. He is experienced in estate taxes and planning, retirement planning, partnerships, tax exempt organizations and applications for tax exempt status, Louisiana tax incentive programs, private foundations, real estate, restaurants and closely held and family owned businesses. His clients include oil and gas exploration and producing companies, physicians and medical practices, lawyers and law firms, residential real estate ownership and management, restaurants, farmers and farming operations, executives, artists and galleries, special interest investors and tax-exempt entities.

 

Mr. Stirton has done evaluation studies on closely held, non-traded entities for thirty years. These studies have been for estate tax valuations, gift tax valuations, buy-sell agreements, investors, expert testimony and employee stock ownership plans.

 

Mr. Stirton has served on the Boards of Directors and as an officer of the Arts Council of New Orleans, Louisiana ArtWorks, the Alliance Francaise (Emeritus), New Orleans Museum of Art Delgado Society, New Orleans Symphony, and the Contemporary Arts Center, Grace House of Louisiana, Project Lazarus and other civic organizations and private foundations.

Robert M. Midkiff, CPA is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

 

Mr. Midkiff works with a wide variety of clients primarily on tax related matters including preparation, compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. He is experienced in business structuring, estate taxes and planning, retirement planning, tax exempt organizations and applications for tax exempt status, restaurants, oil and gas, closely held and family businesses, Louisiana tax incentives and credits, sales tax and employment taxes. His clients include oil and gas royalty companies, physicians and medical practitioners, lawyers, retail businesses, commercial and residential real estate ownership and management, restaurants, timber land ownership, executives, special interest investors and tax exempt entities.

 

Mr. Midkiff has served and is currently on the Boards of Directors and an officer of various civic and social organizations.
